I like this app Whenever I want to know how is the moon right now I just open it All details are there But there is one thing missing to call it "perfect" : The hours of moon rise and moon set These data are necessary to sky lovers and dreamers who want to admire or shoot the moon I really miss this Please add it in a further update ! ;-) Congrats anyway Isa

Quite usable, only the polar areas might need some polishing.

Excellent! Worth buying an iPad just to be able to get this app.

Works just fine even in my old 3Gs. Shows incredible detail.

Fantastic graphics. All the features you need, and more, for viewing the Moon. Its amazing that this program is free. Like looking thru binoculars. A must have for anyone interested in astronomy!!

Mare Insularum, zoom in and you will see a crater named Reinhold, right of that you will find a long section that has been smudged out or covered by a dark box to be "cencored" ...strange? Look at it. Now if you ask your self why, you need to check out a documentry named "Moon rising" and it will help you understand the "why."

This is a great app bit Im very confused as to why the moon rise/set times arent front and center (or even accessible at all). Putting that info on the main screen would make this the best moon app around. Still its quite good and considering its free there is no reason not to get it

This is great for a free app. The only things I would love is if you have the option of setting the phase based on age/numerical value instead of just a slider. Would also be great to have option to show it in its current phase.

This absolutely above and beyond what I expected. I just wish you could do the solar system with the same quality.

This app is both fun and educational. Imagine soaring over the Sea of Tranquility or zooming in and further investigate those enormous craters one sees with the naked eye from right here on planet Earth. Cool pop-ups provide information on seas, craters and other lunar points of interest. The resolution of the digital render is simply breathtaking in this free App. Its all here, featuring both light side or dark side of the Moon, including a simulated orbit seen from the perspective of the Lunar body involving the Earth & Sun.

impressive ... easy to use and easy to understand very nice app!

Awesome app, easy to use. Btw, moon rising is not worth seeing. The director is a con man and footage has been proven to be fake. Dont waste your time
